Angee Simmons of KCPT, Kansas City PBS, has been chosen as the new Vice President of Content for the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA). She will assume the role in October after 24 years at KCPT where she worked her way up from programming to executive producer to vice president of engagement and education.
In the NETA Press Release, Simmons stated, “I’m looking forward to helping member stations and producers build audience engagement around the programming we distribute, and developing shared goals for professional development and station collaboration.”
Simmons will take over the role from Gayle Loeber who retired earlier this month.
