WHRO, the public radio station in Hampton Roads, VA is set to welcome a news department to the team and Rebecca Feldhaus Adams as their very first News Director. In an interview with The Virginian-Pilot, she stated, “I want WHRO to be a place that sets the standard for what people can expect from public media.” Feldhaus Adams comes to WHRO from WAMU in Washington, D.C.
Feldhaus Adams is set to start at the end of July 2019.
