PBS and YouTube announced Monday that PBS is joining the YouTube streaming and on-demand service, YouTube TV. This is the first digital TV service PBS has joined. The partnership is intended to reach more Americans as streaming services become the new standard for TV consumption. PBS programs will be available for live-stream, DVR, and on-demand on the platform, though it has not yet been announced which member stations will have their content available as well.
