On July 11, 2019, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting gave a $500,000 grant to fund a new course for local stations, Public Media Major Giving Academy. CPB really believes in helping local stations to expand content and reach a wide array of audiences. This course will include a 13-week training program focused on leadership for the betterment of public media organizations. The program will be launched in the fall and then further analyzed to create personalized modules that adapt to public media needs.
