Around 20 workers for Cascade Public Media are forming a union for a living wage. They believe their pay is not enough to cover the cost of living in Seattle. Their goal is to become part of the News Guild, part of the Communications Workers of America that represents journalists and their rights. Cascade Public Media has responded saying that they respect the workers’ rights and will look over and reexamine the situation.
